My mom booked us in for a morning at the Glass Art Studio in Wakkerstroom. Susanne runs this studio like a scientist. She is a fantastic teacher and lets you experiment your creativity to the max. Mom and I spent the morning busy planning and creating, it was AWESOME! Matt also got involved and made a colourful wonky bowl in all the colours of the SA flag. So proudly South African! After our lesson we took a walk up to the guest cottage and took a look around. So if you have driven or arrived from out of town and need a place to stay, there is place available for you. It's much nicer in summer, and a lot warmer. We drove up from the farm an hour away and it was -3 this morning. In the summer there is plenty of bird life around on the swamp area. It is definitely a place to viz. I can supply a number if you are keen as Susanne does not have a website yet.
